maJOY is a self taught fashion photographer and seasoned makeup artist. Having never taken a course in photography or makeup, she is not bound by the mantras taught in educational institutions that serve to limit one's creativity. She is driven by her passion to create and easily taps into her bottomless pool of eccentric creativity. maJOY is highly sought after by the fashion industry. Having over fourteen years of professional makeup artistry experience, she is well versed in virtually all things makeup. Her quirky beautiful images have been showcased by various magazines including Maxim. She has also served as creative director for local publications and professionally edits images for commercial and private clients.

maJOY calls the San Francisco Bay Area home but readily travels based on the needs of her clients. She is happily married and hopes to one day own a potbelly pig whom she wants to name Kevin Bacon.
